Choice Solutions hits the road with a successful Citrix/Microsoft workshop event

Overland Park, Kan - June 22 - Choice Solutions delivered successful Citrix and Microsoft work shop events in Coralville and Des Moines, IA and Omaha Nebraska on June 8, 9, 10.  Approximately 100 software engineers attended the hands-on, technical event where no PowerPoint’s were allowed. Industry expert engineers from Choice Solutions, Citrix and Microsoft delivered valuable information on desktop and server virtualization. The workshop onsite lab featured : Hyper-V & XenServer, XenDesktop & XenApp, SCVMM, App-V, SAN Storage, Citrix Provisioning Services, Windows 7 Upgrade & Rollout, Citrix Dazzle, Desktop Delivery Controller, Citrix HDX Experience and The Future: XenClient & BYOC. “We recognize taking valuable engineers out of the day-to-day operations is an investment to organizations, therefore we need to make sure we bring a return,” said President and CEO Jim Steinlage.  “Choice Solutions is committed to delivering (proven) leading-edge technology and showcasing (those) solutions in real life environments.  This type of setting allows organizations’ engineers to get the answers they need to feel confident about solutions they recommend.”

Demonstrations on how to upgrade XP  to Windows 7,  move live applications to five different devices from a laptop to Sprint EVO, Apple Ipad, Wyse zero client, and a 10 year-old computer in less than a minute was some of the eye catching presentations.  Choice Solutions plans to hold the same event in St Louis, Dallas and Fort Worth in August. Dates to be determined.
