Course Summary
This information-packed, instructor-led bootcamp delivers the power skills and core knowledge you'll need to masterfully plan, deploy, and take control of your Vi3.5 environment. Come learn what you really need to know to master the VMware technologies, not just what VMware wants you to think! Our unique blend of learning and fun will help you learn more, retain it, and . . . you'll enjoy your class experience.

This bootcamp is NOT written nor endorsed by VMware, so we will be able to cover a wide range of topics and value-added technologies -- including some must-have third-party tools.

Format
This is Instructor-led bootcamp with a wide variety of in-depth student labs which are more than 50% of the course. Every student gets THEIR OWN server during the week to work on! DOING means you LEARN more and RETAIN it! This course can be delivered at your location, your training center, our training center, or in your home online with your internet connection. Online classes run either during the week 8am to 6pm, or over two consecuitve weekends.

5 FULL days -- 8am to 6pm

Audience
This course is intended for system administrators, engineers, operators, and system architects who will be planning, implementing, supporting, and/or managing VMware ESX Server and Virtual Center in any size environment.

Prerequisites
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and/or Linux OS is requested.
ESX Server experience is helpful, but not required
Good understanding of networking is helpful, but not required

Class Equipment
Each student will be provided THEIR OWN SERVER for class (we don't believe in sharing like other VMware class offerings!). Our unique VMware technical lab features new enterprise-class rack-mounted servers and iSCSI SAN technologies all on VMware's HCL. The servers are available 24/7 during the week of class for the students to work on. If a student needs a server beyond class, we may be able to make one available to them if it is not in use.
