Over the past year, Citrix has undergone restructuring as part of the transition to being a private company through the merger with TIBCO. Citrix is now part of the newly formed Cloud Software Group, a portfolio of privately held software businesses that also include NetScaler, ShareFile, and XenServer amongst other business units. At the beginning of 2023, Citrix made significant changes within its sales and marketing organizations and transitioned to a new consolidated sales coverage approach, utilizing the Citrix Partner network.

This new approach is aimed at relying upon valued added channel partners to serve the needs of organizations leveraging Citrix technologies in the Commercial Enterprise, Commercial, and SMB markets.  One area that is unchanged is in the Enterprise market where certain organizations will continue to have named Citrix account teams.
